What’s new from The World Leader in Sonic Branding

Our team at SAM was busy in 2023 with exciting projects for sports, news, commercials, trailer music and more. Hey, we even created our own SAM hero video via generative AI! Here’s a rundown of some recent projects:

Seattle Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks Broadcasting reached out to SAM to create a distinct sonic brand and iconic theme for their television and radio game broadcasts, promotions, and marketing content. The theme needed to be epic, bold, exciting, and dynamic – and at the same production level of the best NFL themes out there.

The music features all live orchestration paired with live drums, bass, and guitar, along with a multi-dimensional and modular theme that provides a wide variety of edits for opens, intros, outs, bumps, teases, transitions, interstitials, IDs, and promos. The resulting 2:00+ theme includes five distinct modules and over 150 cuts delivered.



King Charles

King Charles, the weekly CNN Primetime show, features Gayle King and Charles Barkley in freewheeling and authentic conversations centered around the week’s most interesting stories, moments, and cultural themes. Stephen Arnold Music (SAM) composed a custom music package for the new show – featuring a blend of urban and pop elements and instrumentation of keys, brass, guitar, and strings.



Riyadh Season

One of the world’s largest festivals, Riyadh Season is a several-month-long celebration of culture, arts, sports, and entertainment in Saudi Arabia attracting tens of millions of visitors annually. SAM was chosen from a list of leading agencies to create a memorable sonic identity and supporting theme for the 2023 event.



CNN NewsNight

CNN’s NewsNight with Abby Phillip delivers a smart, sharp approach to the day’s biggest stories. Our SAM team created a custom sonic brand and music package for the recently launched primetime show – driven by a cinematic blend of strings, piano and percussion.



Ford F-150

Music for Ford Motor Company’s F-150 Lightning promotional campaign — “Not Your Everyday EV” — from The Vault production music library by Stephen Arnold Music. Ford wanted to make some noise for the launch of their new electric pickup, the F-150 Lightning. They called on SAM for an electrifying percussive track from The Vault — our massive production music library — to support the promotional campaign and elevate the image of their new truck.



WETA UK

Stephen Arnold Music captured the drama, intrigue, romance, action, and mystery of WETA UK’s expansive programming in providing the musical theme for the station’s new on-air image campaign. The uplifting orchestral theme plays under a lively montage of clips from UK series, both classic and contemporary, while supporting the theme, “British Television at Its Best.”



The Hill – NewsNation

NewsNation, the nation’s fastest-growing cable news network, recently launched “The Hill” – a new hour-long weekday political ensemble program from new studios in Washington DC. SAM created a custom sonic brand and music package for the show – featuring an edgy blend of electric guitar, strings, synth and percussion.



What’s the Sound of Your Brand? – SAM Creative Reel

Last year we produced a new SAM creative reel combining sonic branding with AI-generated animation. Created in association with transmedia company Elevate Pictures, this short piece integrates our work for leading brands into the story of a young woman who is taken out of her morning routine and transported to a surreal world of sonic immersion and brand audio.



Black Knight

New to the US, and only available at The Vault from Stephen Arnold Music, this incredible boutique library of powerful and emotional trailer music is perfect for use in high end theatrical campaigns, TV and streaming promos, advertising, and more.
