Key West

For Key West’s latest promotional campaign — Close to Perfect, Far from Normal — Tinsley Advertising wanted audiences to feel the island’s diverse, quirky, and genuine vibe. SAM’s composers tapped into the human element of the island, recording acoustic instruments played by hand in real time to showcase the life, color, and variety of Key West.

Travelogue

Collaborating with Flint Skallen, SAM created custom music for Travelogue – CGTN’s flagship show for travel, adventure, and tourism. With an animated suitcase leading the way, accompanied by an upbeat music theme, the show takes viewers on a journey beyond the typical tourist spots to explore the most beautiful and authentic aspects of local cultures.

Riyadh Season

One of the world’s largest festivals, Riyadh Season is a several-month-long celebration of culture, arts, sports, and entertainment in Saudi Arabia attracting tens of millions of visitors annually. SAM was chosen from a list of leading agencies to create a memorable sonic identity and supporting theme for the 2023 event.

Qatar 37

SAM was approached to develop a custom sonic identity and associated music assets for 37, a Qatari media outlet that airs in the English language and targets non-Arab communities residing specifically in Qatar and neighboring Gulf countries. The sonic package successfully conveyed the ‘soul and beating heart’ of the channel, memorably representing the Qatari culture.

Basílica de la Sagrada Família

A recent tour of La Sagrada Família in Spain left us awestruck. We couldn’t help but imagine what this experience could sound like. Inspired by its flowing, organic design, we composed a piece of music that slowly morphs from one thought to the next, creating feelings of introspection and a sense of calm in the vastness.

LA’s Very Own

SAM collaborated with KTLA to mark its 75th anniversary with an emotional and endearing anthem highlighting the station’s unique connection to the city of Los Angeles. Taking its name from the station’s familiar tagline “LA’s Very Own,” the song supports a multifaceted branding campaign focused on the city’s people and spirit, and KTLA’s role as its first and most trusted television station.

Rediscovering China

SAM collaborated with Flint Skallen and CGTN to create a unique sound for Rediscovering China, a current affairs program exploring the issues facing China during this time of rapid change, through compelling human stories. Stunning cinematic images and fast cutting graphics, combined with subtle yet touching custom music and sound design, creates the emotional draw for the audience.

Tilt | 360 Chicago

SAM composed 3 immersive sound experiences to elevate TILT — a heart pounding thrill ride 1030 ft. above the city of Chicago. Since launching, TILT has received worldwide acclaim for its breathtaking ride experience, and gone viral with tens of millions of views and reactions. SAMs sound experience has played a key role in taking riders over the edge.
