SAM World Leader Featured Sports Projects

Dallas Mavericks – MavsTV

SAM created a sonic brand and custom music package for the Dallas Mavericks. This epic three minute score features all live orchestration and drumline percussion. The extensive music package was created for MavsTV – where over 70 games that are not exclusively televised nationally – are available on the Dallas Mavericks Broadcast Network and the NBA App.


TGL Golf

Stephen Arnold Music (SAM) created original music and sonic branding for TGL Golf presented by SoFi, the first-of-its-kind golf league that recently debuted in prime time on ESPN to a huge viewership and great acclaim. The global leader in sonic branding provided a comprehensive broadcast package that includes open, beds, promos, bumps, idents and other elements.

Founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s TMRW Sports in partnership with the PGA TOUR, TGL is a first-of-its-kind, three-on-three competition involving teams of top players from the PGA TOUR. Matches air and stream exclusively on ESPN platforms. The debut match from the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., attracted nearly one million viewers.


NHL Utah Hockey Club – Immersive Sound Design

Utah Hockey Club sought to break the ice on its inaugural season with an unforgettable projection display created by Quince Imaging on one of the most powerful projection systems in sports. SAM was brought in to create an immersive sound design for the experience, hyping up the sold-out crowd even more and blowing the roof off the Delta Center.


Seattle Seahawks – Broadcast Package

Seattle Seahawks Broadcasting reached out to SAM to create a distinct sonic brand and iconic theme for their television and radio game broadcasts, promotions, and marketing content. The theme needed to be epic, bold, exciting, and dynamic – and at the same production level of the best NFL themes out there.

The music features all live orchestration paired with live drums, bass, and guitar, along with a multi-dimensional and modular theme that provides a wide variety of edits for opens, intros, outs, bumps, teases, transitions, interstitials, IDs, and promos. The resulting 2:00+ theme includes five distinct modules and over 150 cuts delivered.


MLB The Show – Sony Interactive

Sony Interactive reached out to SAM to create a distinct and compelling composition for their blockbuster smash, MLB The Show. They wanted a piece that had an epic ‘sports’ sound with modern electronic and urban elements. So we went to work, collaborating with players from the Dallas and Fort Worth Symphony Orchestras, as well as renowned beats producer Adrian Boeckeler. The result is an exciting theme that’s as big and thrilling as the game itself!


Augusta National ANWA – NBC/Golf Channel

Stephen Arnold Music was tasked with composing an inaugural and recurring theme for the annual Augusta National Women’s Amateur (ANWA). This event, taking place the week before The Masters Tournament, was established to inspire greater interest and participation in the women’s game of golf. The composition features live orchestration – and an all female string ensemble!


“Game On” Mets/Yankees – PIX11

In New York City, PIX11 means baseball! And we were plenty excited to take a swing at the music package for their new PIX11’s “Game On” Yankees/Mets promo campaign. This is a fun one – featuring an edgy blend of modern music styles, catchy hooks, and multi-vocal performances. It’s catchy and high energy, and really sets an exciting tone for a fresh season of baseball!


Aiming for Gold Paris – CNN Worldwide

For the 2024 Summer Games in Paris, CNN approached Stephen Arnold Music (SAM) to create a custom sonic brand and music package for its “Aiming For Gold” franchise promotions and coverage. SAM’s objective was to sonically express the drama, inspiration, and passion found on international competition’s biggest stage.

The use of live symphony players creates a distinct identity that seamlessly blends Western sensibilities with regional French instrumentation, including the musette and French violin.

The “Aiming For Gold” franchise airs in a variety of promos, segments, and athlete profile pieces on all CNN channels worldwide. The sonic brand SAM has created has been successful in unifying the campaign and franchise across multiple channels and initiatives.


The American Rodeo – Teton Ridge/strong>

American Rodeo wrangled SAM to create an energetic opening theme that would engage viewers and elevate the renowned rodeo series. The driving orchestral theme is dramatic and action-packed giving audiences a taste of the intensity and competitiveness of the sport.
