What’s new from The World Leader in Sonic Branding – Summer 2025

Our team at SAM has been busy with a wide range of exciting projects this year – custom music and sound for sports, news, experiential – as well as fresh music from our library, The Vault. Here’s a rundown of what we’ve been up to lately.
MLB All-Star Game – Image Engineering
Image Engineering was asked to create an immersive, projection-mapped, pyrotechnic-filled tribute to Hank Aaron for the 2025 MLB All-Star Game, and they turned to SAM for music and sound design that would drive it all home. Our cinematic score, sound design, and restored archival audio moved audiences and helped make the experience unforgettable.
CNN FAST – Warner Bros. Discovery
SAM was tasked with creating sonic branding and custom music for CNN FAST’s new programming line-up which targets a younger audience. CNN Headlines is a free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channel covering major stories across entertainment, culture, business, politics and international.
Neiman Marcus – The Vault
Fashion retailer, Neiman Marcus, has been In Pursuit of the Extraordinary since 1907, which is why they sought out SAM for an equally extraordinary track to set off their Summer 2025 advertising campaign, “Game, Set, Style.” The music chosen for the campaign is upbeat and playful with a chic jazz vibe that perfectly suits the brand’s classy persona.
Sunrise on The Hill – Nexstar Media Group
In its latest collaboration with Nexstar Media Group, Inc., SAM created custom sonic branding for Sunrise on The Hill, the new two-hour morning program on DC News Now. SAM’s work includes a complete music and sound design package featuring an original theme that establishes a unique identity for the show and underscores its dynamic approach to news coverage.
The sonic branding developed by SAM is anchored in a three-note mnemonic that is instantly memorable and distinct. Pulsating guitars, bold percussion, and carefully layered custom sound design elements reflect the energy of Washington, D.C. and the urgency of the political beat. The package also supports on-air visuals in the main title and other show elements, incorporating imagery of iconic Washington landmarks to reinforce a cohesive brand experience.
Atlanta Braves – Gray Media
The Atlanta Braves and Gray Media are turning up the volume this season. SAM was brought in to create custom sonic branding for Gray Media’s newly launched slate of Atlanta Braves baseball games. The dynamic 3-minute theme is bold and energetic with live orchestration and electric guitars, making it highly adaptable to a range of programming and marketing media.
Banfield – NewsNation
Custom music and show package for Banfield on NewsNation. Ashleigh Banfield is *the* definitive authority on the nation’s biggest true crime stories. A veteran award-winning journalist, Ashleigh brings a sharp focus to the crime stories gripping America, distilling facts and analyzing context in a way which captures viewers’ interests and imaginations.
