Utah Mammoth Breaks the Ice on Inaugural Season

Utah Mammoth, the NHL’s newest addition, wanted to kick off its inaugural season with a bang. To get fans hyped for the new home team, Utah Mammoth worked with leading immersive technology company, Quince Imaging, on an unforgettable in-arena presentation using one of the most powerful projection systems in sports.

SAM was brought in to create an immersive sound design for the experience set to Quince’s animations. Designed and mixed for a larger-than-life arena sound, the audio transports audiences from snowy peaks to a frozen lake feeling every nuance of the polar wind and the cracking ice.

The opening-night presentation was an epic introduction for the NHL’s newest team, captivating home fans, and blowing the roof off the Delta Center.
